In the Vineyard:

Rain most of the week.  Adjusted some of the vines on the trellis wire.  Waiting for the flowers to open.

In the Wine Cellar:

Researched new racking systems.

Rain most of the week.  Waiting for the flowers to open.

In the Wine Cellar:

Take a moment to reflect on everyone in our lives... 

Week ending 6/22/2003:  

In the Vineyard:

Rain most of the week.  Cluster thinning.  Spread rock mulch.  Migrated agaves.

In the Wine Cellar:

Prepared for new racking system.  Shifted fermentation platform.  Sanded cabinet.

In the Tasting Room:

Installed fountain.  Happy Birthday to my favorite winemaker!

Week ending 6/29/2003:  

In the Vineyard:

Shift in the weather pattern--the sun comes out for a mini heat wave.  The flower buds open!

In the Wine Cellar:

Prepared for new racking system.  Primed supply cabinet.  Painted supply cabinet.

In the Tasting Room:

Major reorganization.  Installed bookshelf for the library of 100+ wine books.  Here's to new beginnings!
