In the Vineyard:

More rain...and snow!

Week ending 4/13/2003:  

In the Vineyard:

Rain all week...clearing on the weekend.  Sunday: beautiful sunny day.  Pruned Riesling Row and hung the new trellis wire.  The buds look like they're almost ready to open.  Have to prune Cabernet Corner, the Chardonnay, Vidal Blanc, and Traminette next weekend.

Week ending 4/20/2003:  

In the Vineyard:

84 degrees on Tuesday, 34 degrees on Wednesday...what's up with that?  Pruned Cabernet Corner, the Chardonnay, Vidal Blanc; strung new trellis wire.

In the Wine Cellar:

Took a Spring inventory of bottles in the wine cellar.  Getting ready for a potential entry in another wine competition.

Rain all week...sun and 60's temps on Sunday.
