Week ending 8/05/2001:

In the Wine Cellar:

Labeled the 1996 Chardonnay, 1996 White Zinfandel. Re-bottled most of the 1999 Syrah (sediment issues).

In the Vineyard:

Sprayed the vines(humid weather).  Pruned the Riesling and Cabernet.

Week ending 8/12/2001:

In the Wine Cellar:

Re-bottled the rest of the 1999 Syrah #2 (free run) to remove sediment.

In the Vineyard:

Unusual heat wave this week. 90+ degrees 5 days in a row, high humidity. Heavy rain Friday and Sunday.

Week ending 8/19/2001:

In the Vineyard:

Planted two new Riesling vines in pots for later. Rained Sunday night.
